Acts 1:9-14
9And after He had said these things, 1He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10And as they were gazing intently into 2the sky while He was going, behold, 3two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11They also said, “4Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into 5the sky? This Jesus, who 6has been taken up from you into heaven, will 7come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
12Then they 8returned to Jerusalem from the 910mount called 11Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a 12Sabbath day’s journey away. 13When they had entered the city, they went up to 13the upper room where they were staying; 14that is, Peter and John and 15James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, 16James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the Zealot, and 17Judas the 18son of 19James. 14These all with one mind 20were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with 21the women, and Mary the 22mother of Jesus, and with His 23brothers.
