New American Standard Bible 1995
2 Timothy 2:2-5
2The things 1which you have heard from me in the presence of 2many witnesses, 3entrust these to 4faithful men who will be 5able to teach others also.
36Suffer hardship with me, as a good 7soldier of 8Christ Jesus.
4No soldier in active service 9entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.
5Also if anyone 10competes as an athlete, he 11does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.
