New American Standard Bible 1995
Peter 3:15-18
and regard the 1patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also 2our beloved brother Paul, 3according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,
as also in all his letters, speaking in them of 4these things, 5in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and 6unstable distort, as they do also 7the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.
You therefore, 8beloved, knowing this beforehand, 9be on your guard so that you are not carried away by 10the error of 11unprincipled men and 12fall from your own steadfastness,
but grow in the grace and 13knowledge of our 14Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 15To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
