2 Peter 1:2-8
21Grace and peace be multiplied to you in 2the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord;
3seeing that His 3divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true 4knowledge of Him who 5called us 6by His own glory and 7excellence.
48For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent 9promises, so that by them you may become 10partakers of the divine nature, having 11escaped the 12corruption that is in 13the world by lust.
5Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith 14supply 15moral 16excellence, and in your moral excellence, 17knowledge,
6and in your knowledge, 18self-control, and in your self-control, 19perseverance, and in your perseverance, 20godliness,
7and in your godliness, 21brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
8For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor 22unfruitful in the true 23knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
