2 Peter 1:10-15

10Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His 1calling and 2choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never 3stumble; 11for in this way the entrance into 4the eternal kingdom of our 5Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be 6abundantly 7supplied to you.

12Therefore, 8I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them, and have been established in 9the truth which is present with you. 13I consider it 10right, as long as I am in 11this earthly dwelling, to 12stir you up by way of reminder, 14knowing that 13the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, 14as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. 15And I will also be diligent that at any time after my 15departure you will be able to call these things to mind.
