2 Corinthians 11:7-12
7Or 1did I commit a sin in humbling myself so that you might be exalted, because I preached the 2gospel of God to you 3without charge? 8I robbed other churches by 4taking wages from them to serve you; 9and when I was present with you and was in need, I was 5not a burden to anyone; for when 6the brethren came from 7Macedonia they fully supplied my need, and in everything I kept myself from 8being a burden to you, 9and will continue to do so. 1010As the truth of Christ is in me, 11this boasting of mine will not be stopped in the regions of 12Achaia. 11Why? 13Because I do not love you? 14God knows I do!
12But what I am doing I will continue to do, 15so that I may cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be 16regarded just as we are in the matter about which they are boasting.
