2 Corinthians 11:23-33

23Are they 1servants of Christ?--I speak as if insane--I more so; in 23far more labors, in 45far more imprisonments, 67beaten times without number, often in 8danger of death. 24Five times I received from the Jews 9thirty-nine lashes. 25Three times I was 10beaten with rods, once I was 11stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, a night and a day I have spent in the deep. 26I have been on frequent journeys, in dangers from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers from my 12countrymen, dangers from the 13Gentiles, dangers in the 14city, dangers in the wilderness, dangers on the sea, dangers among 15false brethren; 27I have been in 16labor and hardship, 17through many sleepless nights, in 18hunger and thirst, often 19without food, in cold and 2021exposure. 28Apart from such 22external things, there is the daily pressure on me of concern for 23all the churches. 29Who is 24weak without my being weak? Who is 25led into sin 26without my intense concern?

30If I have to boast, I will boast of what pertains to my 27weakness. 31The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, 28He who is blessed forever, 29knows that I am not lying. 32In 30Damascus the ethnarch under Aretas the king was 31guarding the city of the Damascenes in order to seize me, 33and I was let down in a basket 32through a window 33in the wall, and so escaped his hands.
