1 Timothy 2:1-4

1First of all, then, I urge that 1entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men,

22for kings and all who are in 3authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and 4dignity.

3This is good and acceptable in the sight of 5God our Savior,

46who desires all men to be 7saved and to 8come to the 9knowledge of the truth.
