1 Corinthians 10:13-18

13No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and 1God is faithful, who will not allow you to be 2tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

14Therefore, my 3beloved, flee from 4idolatry. 15I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say. 16Is not the 5cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the 6 7bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? 17Since there is one 8bread, we 9who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one 10bread. 18Look at 11the nation 12Israel; are not those who 13eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?
