Ezekiel 30:1-20

1The wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came again unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

2Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,prophesyהִנָּבֵא֙hi.na.Ve'H5012and sayוְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ve.'A.mar.taH559,Thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;Howlהֵילִ֖ילוּhei.Li.luH3213ye, Woe worthהָ֥הּhahH1929the dayלַיּֽוֹם׃lai.YomH3117!

3For the dayי֔וֹםYomH3117isnearקָר֣וֹבka.RovH7138,even the dayי֖וֹםYomH3117of the Lordלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068isnearוְקָר֥וֹבve.ka.RovH7138,a cloudyעָנָ֔ן'a.NanH6051dayי֣וֹםYomH3117;it shall be the timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256of the heathenגּוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471.

4And the swordחֶ֙רֶב֙che.revH2719shall comeוּבָאָ֥הu.va.'AhH935upon Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and great painחַלְחָלָה֙chal.cha.LahH2479shall be in Ethiopiaבְּכ֔וּשׁbe.KhushH3568,when the slainחָלָ֖לcha.LalH2491shall fallבִּנְפֹ֥לbin.FolH5307in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,and they shall take awayוְלָקְח֣וּve.la.ke.ChuH3947her multitudeהֲמוֹנָ֔הּha.mo.NahH1995,and her foundationsיְסוֹדֹתֶֽיהָ׃ye.so.do.Tei.haH3247shall be broken downוְנֶהֶרְס֖וּve.ne.her.SuH2040.

5Ethiopiaכּ֣וּשׁkushH3568,and Libyaוּפ֤וּטu.FutH6316,and Lydiaוְלוּד֙ve.LudH3865,and all the mingledH6153people, and Chubוְכ֔וּבve.KhuvH3552,and the menוּבְנֵ֖יu.ve.NeiH1121of the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776that is in leagueהַבְּרִ֑יתha.be.RitH1285,shall fallיִפֹּֽלוּ׃ פyi.Po.luH5307with them by the swordבַּחֶ֥רֶבba.Che.revH2719.

6Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068;They also that upholdסֹמְכֵ֣יso.me.KheiH5564Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714shall fallוְנָֽפְלוּ֙ve.na.fe.LuH5307;and the prideגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347of her powerעֻזָּ֑הּ'u.ZahH5797shall come downוְיָרַ֖דve.ya.RadH3381:from the towerמִמִּגְדֹּ֣לmi.mig.DolH4024of Syeneסְוֵנֵ֗הse.ve.NehH5482shall they fallיִפְּלוּ־yi.pe.lu-H5307in it by the swordבַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ba.Che.revH2719,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.

7And they shall be desolateוְנָשַׁ֕מּוּve.na.Sha.muH8074in the midstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the countriesאֲרָצ֣וֹת'a.ra.TzotH776that aredesolateנְשַׁמּ֑וֹתne.sha.MotH8074,and her citiesוְעָרָ֕יוve.'a.RavH5892shall be in the midstבְּתוֹךְ־be.tokh-H8432of the citiesעָרִ֥ים'a.RimH5892that arewastedנַחֲרָב֖וֹתna.cha.ra.VotH2717.

8And they shall knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amthe Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,when I have setבְּתִתִּי־be.ti.ti-H5414a fireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784in Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714, and whenall her helpersעֹזְרֶֽיהָ׃'o.ze.Rei.haH5826shall be destroyedוְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּve.nish.be.RuH7665.

9In that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117shall messengersמַלְאָכִ֤יםmal.'a.KhimH4397go forthיֵצְא֨וּye.tze.'UH3318from meמִלְּפָנַי֙mi.le.fa.NaiH6440in shipsבַּצִּ֔יםba.TzimH6716to make the carelessבֶּ֑טַחBe.tachH983Ethiopiansכּ֣וּשׁkushH3568afraidלְהַחֲרִ֖ידle.ha.cha.RidH2729,and great painחַלְחָלָ֤הchal.cha.LahH2479shall come upon them, as in the dayבְּי֣וֹםbe.YomH3117of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:for, lo, it comethבָּאָֽה׃ סba.'AhH935.

10Thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;I will also make the multitudeהֲמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ve.hish.ba.TiH7673by the handבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027of Nebuchadrezzarנְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥רne.vu.khad.re.TzarH5019kingמֶלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894.

11He and his peopleוְעַמּ֤וֹve.'a.MoH5971with him, the terribleעָרִיצֵ֣י'a.ri.TzeiH6184of the nationsגוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471,shall be broughtמֽוּבָאִ֖יםmu.va.'ImH935to destroyלְשַׁחֵ֣תle.sha.ChetH7843the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776:and they shall drawוְהֵרִ֤יקוּve.he.Ri.kuH7324their swordsחַרְבוֹתָם֙char.vo.TamH2719against Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and fillוּמָלְא֥וּu.mal.'UH4390the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776with the slainחָלָֽל׃cha.LalH2491.

12And I will makeוְנָתַתִּ֤יve.na.ta.TiH5414the riversיְאֹרִים֙ye.'o.RimH2975dryחָֽרָבָ֔הcha.ra.VahH2724,and sellוּמָכַרְתִּ֥יu.ma.khar.TiH4376the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776into the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of the wickedרָעִ֑יםra.'ImH7451:and I will make the landאֶ֤רֶץ'E.retzH776wasteוַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞יva.ha.shi.mo.TiH8074,and all that is thereinוּמְלֹאָהּ֙u.me.lo.'AhH4393,by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of strangersזָרִ֔יםza.RimH2114:I the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068have spokenדִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ סdi.Bar.tiH1696it.

13Thus saithאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֗הYah.wehH3069;I will also destroyוְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨יve.ha.'a.vad.TiH6the idolsגִלּוּלִ֜יםgi.lu.LimH1544, and I will cause theirimagesאֱלִילִים֙'e.li.LimH457to ceaseוְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤יve.hish.ba.TiH7673out of Nophמִנֹּ֔ףmi.NofH5297;and there shall be no more a princeוְנָשִׂ֥יאve.na.Si'H5387of the landמֵאֶֽרֶץ־me.'e.retz-H776of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:and I will putוְנָתַתִּ֥יve.na.ta.TiH5414a fearיִרְאָ֖הyir.'AhH3374in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

14And I will make Pathrosפַּתְר֔וֹסpat.RosH6624desolateוַהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙va.ha.shi.mo.TiH8074,and will setוְנָתַ֥תִּיve.na.Ta.tiH5414fireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784in Zoanבְּצֹ֑עַןbe.Tzo.'anH6814,and will executeוְעָשִׂ֥יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֖יםshe.fa.TimH8201in Noבְּנֹֽא׃be.No'H4996.

15And I will pourוְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣יve.sha.fakh.TiH8210my furyחֲמָתִ֔יcha.ma.TiH2534upon Sinסִ֖יןsinH5512,the strengthמָע֣וֹזma.'ozH4581of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714;and I will cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֖יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772the multitudeהֲמ֥וֹןha.MonH1995of Noנֹֽא׃No'H4996.

16And I will setוְנָתַ֤תִּיve.na.Ta.tiH5414fireאֵשׁ֙'eshH784in Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֔יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714:Sinסִ֔יןSinH5512shall have greatח֤וּלchulH2342painתָּחוּל֙ta.chilH2342,and Noוְנֹ֖אve.No'H4996shall be rent asunderלְהִבָּקֵ֑עַle.hi.ba.Ke.a'H1234,and Nophוְנֹ֖ףve.NofH5297shall havedistressesצָרֵ֥יtza.Rei-H6862dailyיוֹמָֽם׃yo.MamH3119.

17The young menבַּח֥וּרֵיba.Chu.reiH970of AvenH206and of Pi–besethH6364shall fallיִפֹּ֑לוּyi.Po.luH5307by the swordבַּחֶ֣רֶבba.Che.revH2719: and these citiesshall goH3212into captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֥יba.she.ViH7628.

18At Tehaphnehesוּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙u.vit.chaf.ne.ChesH8471also the dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117shall be darkenedחָשַׂ֣ךְcha.SakhH2820 H2821,when I shall breakבְּשִׁבְרִי־be.shiv.ri-H7665there the yokesמֹט֣וֹתmo.TotH4133of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714:and the pompגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347of her strengthעֻזָּ֑הּ'u.ZahH5797shall ceaseוְנִשְׁבַּת־ve.nish.bat-H7673in herהִ֚יאhi'H1931:as for her, a cloudעָנָ֣ן'a.NanH6051shall coverיְכַסֶּ֔נָּהye.kha.Se.nahH3680her, and her daughtersוּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָu.ve.no.Tei.haH1323shall goH3212into captivityבַּשְּׁבִ֥יba.she.ViH7628.

19Thus will I executeוְעָשִׂ֥יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213judgmentsשְׁפָטִ֖יםshe.fa.TimH8201in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714:and they shall knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amthe Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

20And it came to pass in the eleventhבְּאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙be.'a.Chat 'es.RehH6240 H259yearשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141,in the firstבָּֽרִאשׁ֖וֹןba.ri.ShonH7223month,in the seventhבְּשִׁבְעָ֣הbe.shiv.'AhH7651dayof the monthלַחֹ֑דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320, thatthe wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,
