29And this shall bea signהָא֔וֹתha.'otH226unto thee, Ye shall eatאָכ֤וֹל'a.KholH398this yearהַשָּׁנָה֙ha.sha.NahH8141such things as growסָפִ֔יחַsa.Fi.achH5599of themselves, and in the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֖יתha.she.NitH8145yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֥הu.va.sha.NahH8141that which springethסָחִ֑ישׁsa.ChishH7823of the same; and in the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗יתha.she.li.ShitH7992yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֣הu.va.sha.NahH8141sowזִרְע֧וּzir.'UH2232ye, and reapוְקִצְר֛וּve.kitz.RuH7114,and plantוְנִטְע֥וּve.nit.'UH5193vineyardsכְרָמִ֖יםkhe.ra.MimH3754,and eatוְאִכְל֥וּve.'ikh.LuH398the fruitsפִרְיָֽם׃fir.YamH6529thereof.

30And the remnantהַנִּשְׁאָרָ֖הha.nish.'a.RahH7604that is escapedפְּלֵיטַ֧תpe.lei.TatH6413of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063shall yet againוְיָ֨סְפָ֜הve.Ya.se.FahH3254take rootשֹׁ֣רֶשׁSho.reshH8328downwardלְמָ֑טָּהle.Ma.tahH4295,and bearוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213fruitפְרִ֖יfe.RiH6529upwardלְמָֽעְלָה׃le.Ma.'e.lahH4605.

31For out of Jerusalemמִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙mi.ru.sha.LimH3389shall go forthתֵּצֵ֣אte.Tze'H3318a remnantשְׁאֵרִ֔יתshe.'e.RitH7611,and they that escapeוּפְלֵיטָ֖הu.fe.lei.TahH6413out of mountמֵהַ֣רme.HarH2022Zionצִיּ֑וֹןtzi.YonH6726:the zealקִנְאַ֛תkin.'AtH7068of the Lordיְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹתYah.wehYah.weh/ /tze.Va.'ottze.Va.'otH3068of hostsיְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹתYah.wehYah.weh/ /tze.Va.'ottze.Va.'otH6635shall doתַּֽעֲשֶׂה־ta.'a.seh-H6213this.

32Therefore thus saithאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068concerning the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804,He shall not comeיָבֹא֙ya.Vo'H935into this cityהָעִ֣ירha.'IrH5892,nor shootיוֹרֶ֥הyo.RehH3384an arrowחֵ֑ץChetzH2671there, nor come beforeיְקַדְּמֶ֣נָּהye.kad.de.Me.nahH6923it with shieldמָגֵ֔ןma.GenH4043,nor castיִשְׁפֹּ֥ךְyish.PokhH8210a bankסֹלְלָֽה׃so.le.LahH5550against it.

33By the wayבַּדֶּ֥רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870that he cameיָבֹ֖אya.Vo'H935,by the same shall he returnיָשׁ֑וּבya.ShuvH7725,and shall not comeיָבֹ֖אya.Vo'H935into this cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

34For I will defendוְגַנּוֹתִ֛יve.ga.no.TiH1598this cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892,to saveלְהֽוֹשִׁיעָ֑הּle.ho.shi.'AhH3467it, for mine own sake, and for my servantעַבְדִּֽי׃'av.DiH5650David’sדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732sake.

35And it came to pass that nightבַּלַּ֣יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915,that the angelמַלְאַ֣ךְmal.'AkhH4397of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068went outוַיֵּצֵ֣א׀vai.ye.Tze'H3318,and smoteוַיַּךְ֙vai.yaKhH5221in the campבְּמַחֲנֵ֣הbe.ma.cha.NehH4264of the Assyriansאַשּׁ֔וּר'a.ShurH804an hundredמֵאָ֛הme.'AhH3967fourscoreשְׁמוֹנִ֥יםshe.mo.NimH8084and fiveוַחֲמִשָּׁ֖הva.cha.mi.ShahH2568thousandאָ֑לֶף'A.lefH505:and when they arose earlyוַיַּשְׁכִּ֣ימוּvai.yash.Ki.muH7925in the morningבַבֹּ֔קֶרva.Bo.kerH1242, behold, they wereall deadמֵתִֽים׃me.TimH4191corpsesפְּגָרִ֥יםpe.ga.RimH6297.
