32So they fearedיְרֵאִ֖יםye.re.'ImH3373the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and madeוַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213unto themselves of the lowestמִקְצוֹתָם֙mik.tzo.TamH7098of them priestsכֹּהֲנֵ֣יko.ha.NeiH3548of the high placesבָמ֔וֹתva.MotH1116,which sacrificedעֹשִׂ֥ים'o.SimH6213for them in the housesבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of the high placesהַבָּמֽוֹת׃ha.ba.MotH1116.

33They fearedיְרֵאִ֑יםye.re.'ImH3373the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and servedעֹֽבְדִ֔ים'oe.DimH5647their own godsאֱלֹֽהֵיהֶם֙'e.lo.hei.HemH430,after the mannerכְּמִשְׁפַּט֙ke.mish.PatH4941of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471whom they carried awayהִגְל֥וּhig.LuH1540from thence.

34Unto this dayהַיּ֤וֹםhai.YomH3117they doעֹשִׂ֔ים'o.SimH6213after the formerהָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֑יםha.ri.sho.NimH7223mannersכַּמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖יםka.mish.pa.TimH4941:they fearיְרֵאִים֙ye.re.'ImH3373not the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,neither doעֹשִׂ֗ים'o.SimH6213they after their statutesכְּחֻקֹּתָם֙ke.chu.ko.TamH2708,or after their ordinancesוּכְמִשְׁפָּטָ֔םu.khe.mish.pa.TamH4941,or after the lawוְכַתּוֹרָ֣הve.kha.to.RahH8451and commandmentוְכַמִּצְוָ֗הve.kha.mitz.VahH4687which the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֤הtzi.VahH6680the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Jacobיַעֲקֹ֔בya.'a.KoH3290,whom he namedשָׂ֥ם שְׁמ֖וֹsam she.MoH8034 H7760Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478;

35With whom the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068had madeוַיִּכְרֹ֨תvai.yikh.RotH3772a covenantבְּרִ֔יתbe.RitH1285,and chargedוַיְצַוֵּ֣םvay.tza.VemH6680them, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Ye shall not fearתִֽירְא֖וּti.re.'UH3372otherאֲחֵרִ֑ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,nor bowתִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּtish.ta.cha.VuH7812yourselves to them, nor serveתַעַבְד֔וּםta.'av.DumH5647them, nor sacrificeתִזְבְּח֖וּtiz.be.ChuH2076to them:

36But the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,who brought you upהֶעֱלָ֨הhe.'e.LahH5927out of the landמֵאֶ֧רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714with greatגָּד֛וֹלga.DolH1419powerבְּכֹ֧חַbe.Kho.achH3581and a stretched outנְטוּיָ֖הne.tu.YahH5186armוּבִזְר֥וֹעַu.viz.Ro.a'H2220,him shall ye fearתִירָ֑אוּti.Ra.'uH3372,and him shall ye worshipתִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּtish.ta.cha.VuH7812,and to him shall ye do sacrificeתִזְבָּֽחוּ׃tiz.Ba.chuH2076.

37And the statutesהַחֻקִּ֨יםha.chu.KimH2706,and the ordinancesהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֜יםha.mish.pa.TimH4941,and the lawוְהַתּוֹרָ֤הve.ha.to.RahH8451,and the commandmentוְהַמִּצְוָה֙ve.ha.mitz.VahH4687,which he wroteכָּתַ֣בka.TavH3789for you, ye shall observeתִּשְׁמְר֥וּןtish.me.RunH8104to doלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for evermoreהַיָּמִ֑יםhai.ya.MimH3117;and ye shall not fearתִֽירְא֖וּti.re.'UH3372otherאֲחֵרִֽים׃'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֥ים'E.lo.HimH430.

38And the covenantוְהַבְּרִ֛יתve.ha.be.RitH1285that I have madeכָּרַ֥תִּיka.Ra.tiH3772with you ye shall not forgetתִשְׁכָּ֑חוּtish.Ka.chuH7911;neither shall ye fearתִֽירְא֖וּti.re.'UH3372otherאֲחֵרִֽים׃'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֥ים'E.lo.HimH430.

39But the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430ye shall fearתִּירָ֑אוּti.Ra.'uH3372;and he shall deliverיַצִּ֣ילya.TzilH5337you out of the handמִיַּ֖דmi.YadH3027of all your enemiesאֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃'o.ye.vei.KhemH341.

40Howbeit they did not hearkenשָׁמֵ֑עוּsha.Me.'uH8085,but they didעֹשִֽׂים׃'o.SimH6213after their formerהָֽרִאשׁ֖וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223mannerכְּמִשְׁפָּטָ֥םke.mish.pa.TamH4941.

41So these nationsהַגּוֹיִ֣םha.go.YimH1471fearedיְרֵאִים֙ye.re.'ImH3373the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and servedעֹֽבְדִ֑ים'oe.DimH5647their graven imagesפְּסִֽילֵיהֶ֖םpe.si.lei.HemH6456,both their childrenבְּנֵיהֶ֣ם׀be.nei.HemH1121,and their children’sוּבְנֵ֣יu.ve.NeiH1121childrenבְנֵיהֶ֗םve.nei.HemH1121:as didעָשׂ֤וּ'a.SuH6213their fathersאֲבֹתָם֙'a.vo.TamH1,so doעֹשִׂ֔ים'o.SimH6213they unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.
