1Then the peopleעַם־'am-H5971of the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776tookוַיִּקְחוּ֙vai.yik.ChuH3947Jehoahazיְהוֹאָחָ֖זye.ho.'a.ChazH3059the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֑הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977,and made him kingוַיַּמְלִיכֻ֥הוּvai.yam.li.Khu.huH4427in his father’sאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1stead in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃bi.ru.sha.LimH3389.

3And the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714put him downוַיְסִירֵ֥הוּvay.si.Re.huH5493at Jerusalemבִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389,and condemnedוַֽיַּעֲנֹשׁ֙vai.ya.'a.NoshH6064the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776in an hundredמֵאָ֥הme.'AhH3967talentsכִכַּר־khi.kar-H3603of silverכֶּ֖סֶףKe.sefH3701and a talentוְכִכַּ֥רve.khi.KarH3603of goldזָהָֽב׃za.HavH2091.
4And the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֜יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714made Eliakimאֶלְיָקִ֣ים'el.ya.KimH471his brotherאָחִ֗יו'a.ChivH251kingוַיַּמְלֵ֨ךְvai.yam.LekhH4427over Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063and Jerusalemוִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םvi.Ru.sha.LimH3389,and turnedוַיַּסֵּ֥בvai.ya.SevH5437his nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034to Jehoiakimיְהוֹיָקִ֑יםye.ho.ya.KimH3079.And Nechoנְכ֔וֹne.KhoH5224tookלָקַ֣חla.KachH3947Jehoahazיוֹאָחָ֤זyo.'a.ChazH3099his brotherאָחִיו֙'a.ChivH251,and carriedוַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּvay.vi.'E.huH935him to Egyptמִצְרָֽיְמָה׃ פmitz.Ra.ye.mahH4714.
