1And in the seventhהַשְּׁבִעִ֜יתha.she.vi.'ItH7637yearוּבַשָּׁנָ֨הu.va.sha.NahH8141Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֗עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077strengthenedהִתְחַזַּ֣קhit.cha.ZakH2388himself, and tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947the captainsשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֡וֹתha.me.'otH3967,Azariahלַעֲזַרְיָ֣הוּla.'a.zar.Ya.huH5838the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Jerohamיְרֹחָ֡םye.ro.ChamH3395,and Ishmaelוּלְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אלu.le.yish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Jehohananיְ֠הוֹחָנָןYe.ho.cha.nonH3076,and Azariahוְלַֽעֲזַרְיָ֨הוּve.la.'a.zar.Ya.huH5838the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Obedעוֹבֵ֜דo.VedH5744,and Maaseiahמַעֲשֵׂיָ֧הוּma.'a.se.Ya.huH4641the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Adaiahעֲדָיָ֛הוּ'a.da.Ya.huH5718,and Elishaphatאֱלִישָׁפָ֥ט'e.li.sha.FatH478the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Zichriזִכְרִ֖יzikh.RiH2147,into covenantבַבְּרִֽית׃va.be.RitH1285with him.

2And they went aboutוַיָּסֹ֙בּוּ֙vai.ya.So.buH5437in Judahבִּֽיהוּדָ֔הbi.hu.DahH3063,and gatheredוַיִּקְבְּצ֤וּvai.yik.be.TzuH6908the Levitesהַלְוִיִּם֙hal.vi.YimH3881out of all the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and the chiefוְרָאשֵׁ֥יve.ra.SheiH7218of the fathersהָאָב֖וֹתha.'a.VotH1of Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,and they cameוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

3And all the congregationהַקָּהָ֥לha.ka.HalH6951madeוַיִּכְרֹ֨תvai.yikh.RotH3772a covenantבְּרִ֛יתbe.RitH1285with the kingהַמֶּ֑לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428in the houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430.And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, Behold, the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶן־ven-H1121shall reignיִמְלֹ֔ךְyim.LokhH4427,as the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068hath saidדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Davidדָוִֽיד׃da.VidH1732.

4This isthe thingהַדָּבָ֖רha.da.VarH1697that ye shall doתַּעֲשׂ֑וּta.'a.SuH6213;A third partהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֨יתha.she.li.ShitH7992of you enteringבָּאֵ֣יba.'EiH935on the sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֗תha.sha.BatH7676,of the priestsלַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙la.ko.ha.NimH3548and of the Levitesוְלַלְוִיִּ֔םve.lal.vi.YimH3881, shall beportersלְשֹֽׁעֲרֵ֖יle.sho.'a.ReiH7778of the doorsהַסִּפִּֽים׃ha.si.PimH5592;

5And a third partוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁית֙ve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992shall beat the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004;and a third partוְהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֖יתve.ha.she.li.ShitH7992at the gateבְּשַׁ֣עַרbe.Sha.'arH8179of the foundationהַיְס֑וֹדhay.SodH3247:and all the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971shall bein the courtsבְּחַצְר֖וֹתbe.chatz.RotH2691of the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

6But let none comeיָב֣וֹאya.Vo'H935into the houseבֵית־veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,save the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ha.ko.ha.NimH3548,and they that ministerוְהַמְשָׁרְתִ֣יםve.ham.sha.re.TimH8334of the Levitesלַלְוִיִּ֔םlal.vi.YimH3881;they shall go inיָבֹ֖אוּya.Vo.'uH935, for they areholyקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944:but all the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971shall keepיִשְׁמְר֖וּyish.me.RuH8104the watchמִשְׁמֶ֥רֶתmish.Me.retH4931of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

7And the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֨םhal.vi.YimH3881shall compassוְהִקִּיפוּ֩ve.hi.ki.FuH5362the kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428round aboutסָבִ֗יבsa.VivH5439,every manאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376with his weaponsוְכֵלָ֣יוve.khe.LavH3627in his handבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027; and whosoever elsecomethוְהַבָּ֥אve.ha.Ba'H935into the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,he shall be put to deathיוּמָ֑תyu.MatH4191:but be ye with the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428when he cometh inבְּבֹא֥וֹbe.vo.'OH935,and when he goeth outוּבְצֵאתֽוֹ׃u.ve.tze.ToH3318.

8So the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֜םhal.vi.YimH3881and all Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063didוַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213according to all things that Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֣עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵן֒ha.ko.HenH3548had commandedצִוָּה֮tzi.VahH6680,and tookוַיִּקְחוּ֙vai.yik.ChuH3947every manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376his menאֲנָשָׁ֔יו'a.na.ShavH582that were to come inבָּאֵ֣יba.'EiH935on the sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֔תha.sha.BatH7676,with them that were to goיוֹצְאֵ֣יyotz.'EiH3318outon the sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֑תha.sha.BatH7676:for Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֥עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵ֖ןha.ko.HenH3548dismissedH6358not the coursesהַֽמַּחְלְקֽוֹת׃Ha.mach.le.KotH4256.

9Moreover Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֨עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵ֜ןha.ko.HenH3548deliveredוַיִּתֵּן֩vai.yi.TenH5414to the captainsלְשָׂרֵ֣יle.sa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֗וֹתha.me.'otH3967spearsהַֽחֲנִיתִים֙ha.cha.ni.TimH2595,and bucklersהַמָּגִנּוֹת֙ha.ma.gi.nOtH4043,and shieldsהַשְּׁלָטִ֔יםha.she.la.TimH7982, that had beenkingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428David’sדָּוִ֑ידda.VidH1732, which werein the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Godהָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ha.'E.lo.HimH430.

10And he setוַיַּעֲמֵ֨דvai.ya.'a.MedH5975all the peopleהָעָ֜םha.'AmH5971,every manוְאִ֣ישׁ׀ve.'IshH376having his weaponשִׁלְח֣וֹshil.ChoH7973in his handבְיָד֗וֹve.ya.DoH3027,from the rightהַיְמָנִית֙hay.ma.NitH3233sideמִכֶּ֨תֶףmi.Ke.tefH3802of the templeהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004to the leftהַשְּׂמָאלִ֔יתha.se.ma.LitH8042sideכֶּ֤תֶףKe.tefH3802of the templeהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004,along by the altarלַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַla.miz.Be.achH4196and the templeוְלַבָּ֑יִתve.la.Ba.yitH1004,by the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428round aboutסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439.

11Then they brought outוַיּוֹצִ֣יאוּvai.yo.Tzi.'uH3318the king’sהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428sonבֶּן־ben-H1121,and putוַיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414upon him the crownהַנֵּ֙זֶר֙ha.Ne.zerH5145, and gave himthe testimonyהָ֣עֵד֔וּתha.'e.DutH5715,and made him kingוַיַּמְלִ֖יכוּvai.yam.Li.khuH4427.And Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֣עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077and his sonsוּבָנָ֔יוu.va.NavH1121anointedוַיִּמְשָׁחֻ֙הוּ֙vai.yim.sha.Chu.huH4886him, and saidוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559,God saveיְחִ֥יye.ChiH2421the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ סha.Me.lekhH4428.
