2And he gathered togetherוַיֶּאֱסֹף֙vai.ye.'e.SofH622all the princesשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,with the priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּֽם׃ve.hal.vi.YimH3881.

3Now the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881were numberedוַיִּסָּֽפְרוּ֙vai.yi.sa.fe.RuH5608from the ageמִבֶּ֛ןmi.BenH1121of thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁ֥יםshe.lo.ShimH7970yearsשָׁנָ֖הsha.NahH8141and upwardוָמָ֑עְלָהva.Ma.'e.lahH4605:and their numberמִסְפָּרָ֤םmis.pa.RamH4557by their pollsלְגֻלְגְּלֹתָם֙le.gul.ge.lo.TamH1538,man by manלִגְבָרִ֔יםlig.va.RimH1397,was thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁ֥יםshe.lo.ShimH7970and eightוּשְׁמוֹנָ֖הu.she.mo.NahH8083thousandאָֽלֶף׃'A.lefH505.

5Moreover fourוְאַרְבַּ֥עַתve.'ar.Ba.'atH702thousandאֲלָפִ֖ים'a.la.FimH505wereportersשֹׁעֲרִ֑יםsho.'a.RimH7778;and fourוְאַרְבַּ֤עַתve.'ar.Ba.'atH702thousandאֲלָפִים֙'a.la.FimH505praisedמְהַֽלְלִ֣יםme.ha.LimH1984the Lordלַיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068with the instrumentsבַּכֵּלִ֕יםba.ke.LimH3627which I madeעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213, said David,to praiseלְהַלֵּֽל׃le.ha.LelH1984therewith.

6And Davidדָּוִ֖ידda.VidH1732dividedוַיֶּֽחָלְקֵ֥םvai.ye.chal.KemH2505them into coursesמַחְלְק֑וֹת סmach.le.KotH4256among the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Leviלֵוִ֔יle.ViH3878, namely,Gershonלְגֵרְשׁ֖וֹןle.ge.re.ShonH1648,Kohathקְהָ֥תke.HatH6955,and Merariוּמְרָרִֽי׃ סu.me.ra.RiH4847.

7Of the Gershonitesלַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֖יla.ge.re.shu.NiH1649were,Laadanלַעְדָּ֥ןla'.DanH3936,and Shimeiוְשִׁמְעִֽי׃ סve.shim.'IH8096.

8The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Laadanלַעְדָּ֗ןla'.DanH3936;the chiefהָרֹ֧אשׁha.RoshH7218wasJehielיְחִיאֵ֛לye.chi.'ElH3171,and Zethamוְזֵתָ֥םve.ze.TamH2241,and Joelוְיוֹאֵ֖לve.yo.'ElH3100,threeשְׁלֹשָֽׁה׃ סshe.lo.ShahH7969.

9The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֗יshim.'IH8096;Shelomithשְׁלוֹמִ֧יתshe.lo.motH8013 H8019,and Hazielוַחֲזִיאֵ֛לva.cha.zi.'ElH2381,and Haranוְהָרָ֖ןve.ha.RanH2039,threeשְׁלֹשָׁ֑הshe.lo.ShahH7969. These werethe chiefרָאשֵׁ֥יra.SheiH7218of the fathersהָאָב֖וֹתha.'a.VotH1of Laadanלְלַעְדָּֽן׃ סle.la'.DanH3936.

10And the sonsוּבְנֵ֣יu.ve.NeiH1121of Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֔יshim.'IH8096were,Jahathיַ֣חַתYa.chatH3189,ZinaH2126,and Jeushוִיע֖וּשׁvi.'UshH3266,and Beriahוּבְרִיעָ֑הu.ve.ri.'AhH1283.These fourאַרְבָּעָֽה׃'ar.ba.'AhH702werethe sonsבְנֵי־ve.nei-H1121of Shimeiשִׁמְעִ֖יshim.'IH8096.

11And Jahathיַ֣חַתYa.chatH3189was the chiefהָרֹ֔אשׁha.RoshH7218,and Zizahוְזִיזָ֖הve.zi.ZahH2125the secondהַשֵּׁנִ֑יha.she.NiH8145:but Jeushוִיע֤וּשׁvi.'UshH3266and Beriahוּבְרִיעָה֙u.ve.ri.'AhH1283had not manyהִרְבּ֣וּhir.BuH7235sonsבָנִ֔יםva.NimH1121;therefore they were in oneאֶחָֽת׃ ס'e.ChatH259reckoningלִפְקֻדָּ֖הlif.ku.DahH6486, according to theirfather’sאָ֔ב'AvH1houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004.

12The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Kohathקְהָ֗תke.HatH6955;Amramעַמְרָ֥ם'am.RamH6019,Izharיִצְהָ֛רyitz.HarH3324,Hebronחֶבְר֥וֹןchev.RonH2275,and Uzzielוְעֻזִּיאֵ֖לve.'u.zi.'ElH5816,fourאַרְבָּעָֽה׃ ס'ar.ba.'AhH702.

13The sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Amramעַמְרָ֖ם'am.RamH6019;Aaronאַהֲרֹ֣ן'a.ha.RonH175and Mosesוּמֹשֶׁ֑הu.mo.ShehH4872:and Aaronאַהֲרֹ֡ן'a.ha.RonH175was separatedוַיִּבָּדֵ֣לvai.yi.ba.DelH914,that he should sanctifyלְֽהַקְדִּישׁוֹ֩le.hak.di.ShoH6942the mostקֹ֨דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holy thingsקָֽדָשִׁ֤יםka.da.ShimH6944,he and his sonsוּבָנָיו֙u.va.NavH1121forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769,to burn incenseלְהַקְטִיר֩le.hak.TirH6999beforeלִפְנֵ֨יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068,to ministerלְשָׁרְת֛וֹle.sha.re.ToH8334unto him, and to blessוּלְבָרֵ֥ךְu.le.va.RekhH1288in his nameבִּשְׁמ֖וֹbish.MoH8034forעַד־'ad-H5704everעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769.

14Now concerningMosesוּמֹשֶׁ֖הu.mo.ShehH4872the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,his sonsבָּנָ֕יוba.NavH1121were namedיִקָּרְא֖וּyi.ka.re.'UH7121of the tribeשֵׁ֥בֶטShe.vetH7626of Leviהַלֵּוִֽי׃ha.le.ViH3878.

15The sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872were,Gershomגֵּרְשֹׁ֖םge.re.ShomH1647,and Eliezerוֶאֱלִיעֶֽזֶר׃ve.'e.li.'E.zerH461.

16Of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Gershomגֵרְשׁ֖וֹםge.re.ShomH1647,Shebuelשְׁבוּאֵ֥לshe.vu.'ElH7619wasthe chiefהָרֹֽאשׁ׃ha.RoshH7218.

17And the sonsבְנֵי־ve.nei-H1121of Eliezerאֱלִיעֶ֖זֶר'e.li.'E.zerH461were,Rehabiahרְחַבְיָ֣הre.chav.YahH7345the chiefהָרֹ֑אשׁha.RoshH7218.And Eliezerלֶאֱלִיעֶ֙זֶר֙le.'e.li.'E.zerH461had none otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312sonsבָּנִ֣יםba.NimH1121;but the sonsוּבְנֵ֥יu.ve.NeiH1121of Rehabiahרְחַבְיָ֖הre.chav.YahH7345were veryלְמָֽעְלָה׃le.Ma.'e.lahH4605manyרָב֥וּra.VuH7235.

22And Eleazarאֶלְעָזָ֔ר'el.'a.ZarH499diedוַיָּ֙מָת֙vai.Ya.motH4191,and had no sonsבָּנִ֖יםba.NimH1121,but daughtersבָּנ֑וֹתba.NotH1323:and their brethrenאֲחֵיהֶֽם׃'a.chei.HemH251the sonsבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Kishקִ֖ישׁkishH7027tookוַיִּשָּׂא֥וּםvai.yi.sa.'UmH5375them.
