And David mourned וַיִּתְאַבֵּ֥ל vai.yit.'a.Bel H56 for his son בְּנ֖וֹ be.No H1121 every day הַיָּמִֽים׃ hai.ya.Mim H3117 . 38 So Absalom וְאַבְשָׁל֥וֹם ve.'av.sha.Lom H53 fled H1272 , and went to Geshur גְּשׁ֑וּר ge.Shur H1650 , and was H1961 there three שָׁלֹ֥שׁ sha.Losh H7969 years שָׁנִֽים׃ sha.Nim H8141 . 39 And the soul of king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ ha.Me.lekh H4428 David דָּוִ֣ד da.Vid H1732 longed to go לָצֵ֖את la.Tzet H3318 forth H3318 unto Absalom אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם 'av.sha.Lom H53 : for he was comforted נִחַ֥ם ni.Cham H5162 concerning Amnon אַמְנ֖וֹן 'am.Non H550 , seeing he was dead H4191 .
