15Andtheyrejectedוַיִּמְאֲס֣וּvai.yim.'a.SuH3988hisstatutesH2706,andhiscovenantבְּרִיתוֹ֙be.ri.ToH1285thathemadeH6213withtheirfathersH1,andhistestimoniesעֵֽדְוֹתָ֔יו'e.de.vo.TavH5715whichhetestifiedH5749untothem;andtheyfollowedvanityהַהֶ֙בֶל֙ha.He.velH1892,andbecamevain,andwentafterthenationsהַגּוֹיִם֙ha.go.YimH1471thatwereroundH5439aboutthem,concerningwhomJehovahhadchargedthemthattheyshouldnotdolikethem.

17Andtheycausedtheirsonsבְּנֵיהֶ֤םbe.nei.HemH1121andtheirdaughtersבְּנֽוֹתֵיהֶם֙be.no.tei.HemH1323topassוַֽ֠יַּעֲבִירוּVai.ya.'a.vi.ruH5674throughthefireבָּאֵ֔שׁba.'EshH784,anduseddivinationקְסָמִ֖יםke.sa.MimH7081andenchantments,andsoldH4376themselvestodothatwhichwasevilהָרַ֛עha.Ra'H7451inthesightofJehovah,toprovokeלְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃le.hakh.'i.SoH3707himtoangerH3707.
