8And they slewH2026 the kingsH4428 of MidianH4080 with the rest of their slainH2026; EviH189, and RekemH7552, and ZurH6698, and HurH2354, and RebaH7254, the fiveH2568 kingsH4428 of MidianH4080: BalaamH1109 also the sonH1121 of BeorH1160 they slewH2026 with the swordH2719.

9And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 tookH7617 captiveH7617 the womenH802 of MidianH4080 and their littleH2945 onesH2945; and allH3605 their cattleH929, and allH3605 their flocksH4735, and allH3605 their goodsH2428, they tookH7617 for a preyH962.

10And allH3605 their citiesH5892 in the placesH4186 wherein they dwelt, and allH3605 their encampmentsH2918, they burntH8313 with fireH784.

11And they tookH3947 allH3605 the spoilH7998, and allH3605 the prey, bothH3605 of manH120 and of beastH929.

12And they broughtH935 the captivesH7628, and the prey, and the spoilH7998, unto MosesH4872, and unto EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and unto the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, unto the campH4264 at the plainsH6160 of MoabH4124, whichH834 are by the JordanH3383 at JerichoH3405.

13And MosesH4872, and EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and allH3605 the princesH5387 of the congregationH5712, wentH3318 forthH3318 to meetH7125 them without the campH4264.

14And MosesH4872 was wroth with the officersH8269 of the hostH6635, the captainsH8269 of thousandsH505 and the captainsH8269 of hundredsH3967, whichH6635 cameH935 from the serviceH6635 of the warH4421.

15And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, Have ye saved allH3605 the womenH5347 aliveH2421?

16BeholdH2005, theseH2007 causedH1961 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, throughH5921 the counselH1697 of BalaamH1109, to commit trespassH4604 againstH5921 the LORDH3068 in the matterH1697 of PeorH6465, and soH1961 the plagueH4046 was among the congregationH5712 of the LORDH3068.

17NowH6258 therefore killH2026 everyH3605 maleH2145 among the littleH2945 onesH2945, and killH2026 everyH3605 womanH802 that hath knownH3045 manH376 by lyingH4904 with him.

18But allH3605 the womenH802 childrenH2945, that have notH3808 knownH3045 manH2145 by lyingH4904 with him, keep aliveH2421 for yourselves.

19And encampH2583 ye without the campH4264 sevenH7651 daysH3117: whosoever hath killedH2026 anyH3605 personH5315, and whosoever hath touchedH5060 anyH3605 slainH2026, purifyH2398 yourselves on the thirdH7992 dayH3117 and on the seventhH7637 dayH3117, ye and your captivesH7628.

20And as to everyH3605 garmentH899, and allH3605 that is madeH4639 of skinH5785, and allH3605 workH4639 of goats’H5795 hair, and allH3605 things madeH4639 of woodH6086, ye shall purifyH2398 yourselves.

21And EleazarH499 the priestH3548 saidH559 unto the menH376 of warH4421 whichH834 wentH935 to the battleH4421, This is the statuteH2708 of the lawH8451 whichH834 the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680 MosesH4872:

22howbeit the goldH2091, and the silverH3701, the brassH5178, the ironH1270, the tinH913, and the leadH5777,

23everyH3605 thingH1697 that may abide the fireH784, ye shall make to goH935 throughH5674 the fireH784, and it shall be cleanH2891; neverthelessH389 it shall be purifiedH2891 with the waterH4325 of separation: and allH3605 that abideth notH3808 the fireH784 ye shall make to goH935 throughH5674 the waterH4325.

24And ye shall washH3526 your clothesH899 on the seventhH7637 dayH3117, and ye shall be cleanH2891, and afterwardH310 ye shall comeH935 intoH413 the campH4264.

25And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,

26TakeH5375 the sumH7218 of the prey that was takenH5375, bothH120 of manH120 and of beastH929, thou, and EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and the headsH7218 of the fathers’H1 houses of the congregationH5712:

27and divideH2673 the prey intoH3318 two parts; betweenH996 the menH3605 skilled in warH4421, that wentH3318 outH3318 to battleH4421, and allH3605 the congregationH5712:

28and levyH4371 a tributeH4371 unto the LORDH3068 of the menH376 of warH4421 that wentH3318 outH3318 to battleH4421: one soulH5315 of fiveH2568 hundredH3967, bothH4480 of the personsH5315, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the flocksH6629:

29takeH3947 it of their halfH4276, and giveH5414 it unto EleazarH499 the priestH3548, for the LORD’SH3068 heaveH8641 offering.

30And of the childrenH1121 of Israel’sH3478 halfH4276, thou shalt takeH3947 one drawnH270 outH4480 of everyH3605 fiftyH2572, of the personsH120, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocksH6629, evenH853 of allH3605 the cattleH929, and giveH5414 them unto the LevitesH3881, whichH929 keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the tabernacleH4908 of the LORDH3068.

31And MosesH4872 and EleazarH499 the priestH3548 didH6213 as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872.

32NowH1961 the preyH957, over and above the bootyH962 whichH834 the menH5971 of warH6635 tookH962, was sixH8337 hundredH3967 thousandH505 and seventyH7657 thousandH505 and fiveH2568 thousandH505 sheepH6629,

33and threescore and twelve thousandH505 beeves,

34and threescore and one thousandH505 asses,

35and thirtyH7970 and twoH8147 thousandH505 personsH5315 in allH3605, of the womenH802 that had notH3808 knownH3045 manH120 by lyingH4904 with him.
