Numbers 27:1-9

Then drewH7126 nearH7126 the daughtersH1323 of ZelophehadH6765, the sonH1121 of HepherH2660, the sonH1121 of GileadH1568, the sonH1121 of MachirH4353, the sonH1121 of ManassehH4519, of the familiesH4940 of ManassehH4519 the sonH1121 of JosephH3130: and theseH428 are the namesH8034 of his daughtersH1323; MahlahH4244, NoahH5270, and HoglahH2295, and MilcahH4435, and TirzahH8656.

And they stoodH5975 beforeH6440 MosesH4872, and beforeH6440 EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and beforeH6440 the princesH5387 and allH3605 the congregationH5712, at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, sayingH559,

Our fatherH1 diedH4191 in the wildernessH4057, and he was notH3808 among the companyH5712 of them that gatheredH3259 themselvesH5921 togetherH3259 againstH5921 the LORDH3068 in the companyH5712 of KorahH7141: but he diedH4191 in his ownH1961 sinH2399; and he had noH3808 sonsH1121.

WhyH4100 should the nameH8034 of our fatherH1 be takenH1639 awayH1639 from among his familyH4940, becauseH3588 he had noH369 sonH1121? GiveH5414 unto usH5414 a possessionH272 among the brethrenH251 of our fatherH1.

And MosesH4872 broughtH7126 their cause beforeH6440 the LORDH3068.

And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,

The daughtersH1323 of ZelophehadH6765 speakH1696 rightH3651: thou shalt surelyH5414 giveH5414 them a possessionH272 of an inheritanceH5159 among their father’sH1 brethrenH251; and thou shalt causeH5414 the inheritanceH5159 of their fatherH1 to passH5674 unto them.

And thou shalt speakH1696 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, IfH3588 a manH376 dieH4191, and have noH369 sonH1121, then ye shall cause his inheritanceH5159 to passH5674 unto his daughterH1323.

And ifH518 he have noH369 daughterH1323, then ye shall giveH5414 his inheritanceH5159 unto his brethrenH251.
