4And MoabH4124 saidH559 unto the eldersH2205 of MidianH4080, NowH6258 shall this multitude lickH3897 upH853 allH3605 that is roundH5439 aboutH5439 usH413, as the oxH7794 licketh upH853 the grassH3418 of the fieldH7704. And BalakH1111 the sonH1121 of ZipporH6834 was kingH4428 of MoabH4124 at that time.

7And the eldersH2205 of MoabH4124 and the eldersH2205 of MidianH4080 departedH935 with the rewards of divinationH7081 in their handH3027; and they cameH935 unto BalaamH1109, and spake unto him the wordsH1697 of BalakH1111.

8And he saidH559 unto them, Lodge hereH6311 this nightH3915, and I will bringH7725 youH834 wordH1697 againH7725, as the LORDH3068 shall speakH1696 unto meH413: and the princesH8269 of MoabH4124 abodeH3427 with BalaamH1109.

9And GodH430 cameH935 unto BalaamH1109, and saidH559, WhatH4310 menH376 are theseH428 with thee?

10And BalaamH1109 saidH559 unto GodH430, BalakH1111 the sonH1121 of ZipporH6834, kingH4428 of MoabH4124, hath sentH7971 unto meH413, sayingH559,

11BeholdH2009, the peopleH5971 that is comeH3318 outH3318 of EgyptH4714, it covereth the faceH5869 of the earthH776: nowH6258, comeH3318 curseH6895 meH3318 them; peradventure I shall be ableH3201 to fightH3898 againstH3898 them, and shall driveH1644 them outH3318.

12And GodH430 saidH559 unto BalaamH1109, Thou shalt notH3808 go with them; thou shalt notH3808 curseH779 the peopleH5971: for they are blessedH1288.

13And BalaamH1109 roseH6965 upH6965 in the morningH1242, and saidH559 unto the princesH8269 of BalakH1111, GetH6965 youH3588 intoH413 your landH776: for the LORDH3068 refuseth to giveH5414 meH413 leaveH1980 to goH1980 with youH3588.

14And the princesH8269 of MoabH4124 roseH6965 upH6965, and they wentH1980 unto BalakH1111, and saidH559, BalaamH1109 refuseth to comeH935 with usH413.

15And BalakH1111 sentH7971 yet againH5750 princesH8269, moreH5750, and moreH5750 honourable thanH7227 they.

16And they cameH935 to BalaamH1109, and saidH559 to him, ThusH3541 saith BalakH1111 the sonH1121 of ZipporH6834, LetH4994 nothingH408, I prayH4994 thee, hinderH4513 thee from comingH935 unto meH413:

17for I will promoteH6213 thee unto veryH3966 greatH3966 honour, and whatsoeverH3605 thou sayest unto meH413 I will doH6213: comeH4994 therefore, I prayH4994 thee, curseH6895 meH413 this peopleH5971.

18And BalaamH1109 answeredH559 and saidH559 unto the servantsH5650 of BalakH1111, IfH518 BalakH1111 would giveH5414 meH413 his houseH1004 fullH4393 of silverH3701 and goldH2091, I cannotH3808 goH5674 beyondH413 the wordH6310 of the LORDH3068 my GodH430, to doH6213 lessH6996 or moreH3808.

19NowH6258 therefore, I prayH4994 youH859, tarry ye also hereH2088 this nightH3915, that I may knowH3045 whatH4100 the LORDH3068 will speakH1696 unto meH4994 moreH3254.

20And GodH430 cameH935 unto BalaamH1109 at nightH3915, and saidH559 unto him, IfH518 the menH376 be comeH935 to callH7121 thee, riseH6965 upH6965, goH935 with them; but onlyH389 the wordH1697 whichH834 I speakH1696 unto thee, that shalt thou doH6213.

21And BalaamH1109 roseH6965 upH6965 in the morningH1242, and saddledH2280 his ass, and wentH6965 with the princesH8269 of MoabH4124.
