Numbers 17:2-8

2SpeakH559 unto the childrenH1121 of Israel, and takeH7311 of them rods, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes accordingH413 to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods: write thou every man’s nameH559 uponH784 his rod.

3And thou shalt write Aaron’s name uponH1961 the rod of Levi: for there shall be one rod for each headH6440 of their fathers’ houses.

4And thou shalt lay them upH853 in the tent of meeting before the testimony, whereH834 I meet with youH834.

5And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961, that the manH376 whomH834 I shall choose, his rod shall bud: and I will makeH3027 to cease from meH6440 the murmurings of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, whichH834 they murmur againstH6440 youH834.

6And MosesH4872 spake unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, and allH3605 their princes gaveH559 him rods, for eachH3605 prince one, accordingH5921 to their fathers’ houses, evenH853 twelve rods: and the rod of AaronH175 was among their rods.

7And MosesH4872 laid upH7200 the rods beforeH413 the LORDH3068 in the tentH168 of the testimony.

8And it cameH935 to passH935 on the morrow, that MosesH4872 wentH935 intoH413 the tentH168 of the testimony; and, behold, the rod of AaronH175 for the house of Levi was budded, and putH935 forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and bare ripe almonds.
