Revised Version 1895
Numbers 14:22-35
becauseH3588 allH3605 thoseH3605 menH376 whichH834 have seenH7200 my gloryH3519, and my signsH226, whichH834 I wrought in EgyptH4714 and in the wildernessH4057, yet have temptedH5254 meH6963 theseH2088 tenH6235 timesH6471, and have notH3808 hearkened to my voiceH6963;
surelyH518 they shall notH3808 seeH7200 the landH776 whichH834 I sware unto their fathersH1, neitherH3808 shall anyH3605 of them that despisedH5006 meH7200 seeH7200 it:
but my servantH5650 CalebH3612, becauseH834 he had anotherH312 spiritH7307 with him, and hath followedH310 meH413 fullyH4390, him will I bringH935 intoH413 the landH776 whereinto he wentH935; and his seedH2233 shall possessH3423 it.
Now the AmalekiteH6003 and the CanaaniteH3669 dwellH3427 in the valleyH6010: tomorrowH4279 turnH6437 ye, and get youH1870 intoH3220 the wildernessH4057 by the wayH1870 to the Red SeaH3220.
And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559,
HowH834 longH5704 shall I bear with this evilH7451 congregationH5712, whichH834 murmurH3885 againstH5921 meH5921? I have heardH8085 the murmurings of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, whichH834 they murmurH3885 againstH5921 meH5921.
SayH559 unto them, As I liveH2416, saith the LORDH3068, surelyH518 as ye have spokenH1696 in mine earsH241, soH3651 will I doH6213 to youH834:
your carcases shall fallH5307 in this wildernessH4057; and allH3605 that were numberedH6485 of youH834, accordingH5921 to your wholeH3605 numberH4557, from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, whichH834 have murmuredH3885 againstH5921 meH5921,
surelyH3588 ye shall notH518 comeH935 intoH413 the landH776, concerning whichH834 I liftedH5375 upH5375 my handH3027 that I would makeH5375 youH859 dwellH7931 therein, save CalebH3612 the sonH1121 of JephunnehH3312, and JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126.
But your littleH2945 onesH2945, whichH834 ye saidH559 should be a preyH957, them will I bringH935 in, and they shall knowH3045 the landH776 whichH834 ye have rejectedH3988.
But as for youH859, your carcases shall fallH5307 in this wildernessH4057.
And your childrenH1121 shall be wanderers in the wildernessH4057 fortyH705 yearsH8141, and shall bearH5375 your whoredoms, untilH5704 your carcases be consumedH8552 in the wildernessH4057.
AfterH3117 the numberH4557 of the daysH3117 in whichH834 ye spiedH8446 outH3045 the landH776, evenH853 fortyH705 daysH3117, for everyH3117 dayH3117 a yearH8141, shall ye bearH5375 your iniquitiesH5771, evenH853 fortyH705 yearsH8141, and ye shall knowH3045 my alienation.
I the LORDH3068 have spokenH1696, surelyH4191 this will I doH6213 unto allH3605 this evilH7451 congregationH5712, that are gatheredH3259 togetherH3259 againstH5921 meH5921: in this wildernessH4057 they shall be consumedH8552, and there they shall dieH4191.
