Numbers 13:17-33
17And MosesH4872 sentH7971 them to spyH8446 outH7971 the landH776 of CanaanH3667, and saidH559 unto them, GetH5927 youH7971 upH5927 this wayH2088 by the SouthH5045, and goH5927 upH5927 intoH413 the mountainsH2022: 18and seeH7200 the landH776, whatH4100 it is; and the peopleH5971 that dwelleth therein, whetherH518 they be strongH2389 or weak, whetherH518 they be fewH4592 or manyH7227; 19and whatH4100 the landH776 is that they dwellH3427 in, whetherH518 it be goodH2896 or badH7451; and whatH4100 citiesH5892 they be that they dwellH3427 in, whetherH518 in campsH4264, or in strong holds; 20and whatH4100 the landH776 is, whetherH518 it be fat or leanH7330, whetherH518 there be woodH6086 therein, or notH369. And be ye of good courageH2388, and bringH3947 of the fruitH6529 of the landH776. NowH3117 the time was the time of the firstripe grapesH6025. 21SoH5927 they wentH935 upH5927, and spiedH8446 outH8446 the landH776 from the wildernessH4057 of ZinH6790 unto RehobH7340, to the enteringH935 in of HamathH2574. 22And they wentH935 upH5927 by the SouthH5045, and cameH935 unto HebronH2275; and AhimanH289, SheshaiH8344, and TalmaiH8526, the childrenH1129 of AnakH6061, were there. (NowH935 HebronH2275 was builtH1129 sevenH7651 yearsH8141 beforeH6440 ZoanH6814 in EgyptH4714.) 23And they cameH935 unto the valleyH5158 of EshcolH812, and cutH3772 downH3772 from thence a branchH2156 with one clusterH811 of grapesH6025, and they bare it uponH935 a staff betweenH5704 twoH8147; they broughtH935 also of the pomegranatesH7416, and of the figsH8384. 24That placeH4725 was calledH7121 the valleyH5158 of EshcolH812, becauseH5921 of the clusterH811 whichH834 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 cutH3772 downH3772 from thence. 25And they returnedH7725 from spyingH8446 outH8446 the landH776 at the endH7093 of fortyH705 daysH3117. 26And they wentH935 and cameH935 to MosesH4872, and to AaronH175, and to allH3605 the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, unto the wildernessH4057 of ParanH6290, to KadeshH6946; and broughtH935 backH7725 wordH1697 unto them, and unto allH3605 the congregationH5712, and shewed them the fruitH6529 of the landH776. 27And they toldH559 him, and saidH559, WeH834 cameH935 unto the landH776 whither thou sentest usH413, and surelyH1571 it floweth with milkH2461 and honeyH1706; and this is the fruitH6529 of it. 28Howbeit the peopleH5971 that dwellH3427 in the landH776 are strongH5794, and the citiesH5892 are fenced, and veryH3966 greatH1419: and moreoverH1571 weH3588 sawH7200 the childrenH3211 of AnakH6061 there. 29AmalekH6002 dwelleth in the landH776 of the SouthH5045: and the HittiteH2850, and the JebusiteH2983, and the AmoriteH567, dwellH3427 in the mountainsH2022: and the CanaaniteH3669 dwelleth by the seaH3220, and alongH5921 by the sideH3027 of JordanH3383. 30And CalebH3612 stilled the peopleH5971 beforeH413 MosesH4872, and saidH559, Let usH413 goH5927 upH5927 at once, and possessH3423 it; for weH3588 are well ableH3201 to overcomeH3201 it. 31But the menH376 that wentH5927 upH5927 with him saidH559, WeH3588 be notH3808 ableH3201 to goH5927 upH5927 againstH413 the peopleH5971; for they are strongerH2389 thanH4480 weH3588. 32And they broughtH3318 upH7200 an evilH1681 reportH1681 of the landH776 whichH834 they had spiedH8446 outH3318 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, The landH776, throughH5674 whichH834 weH834 have goneH3318 to spyH8446 it outH3318, is a landH776 that eateth upH7200 the inhabitantsH3427 thereof; and allH3605 the peopleH5971 that weH834 sawH7200 in it are menH376 of great stature. 33And there weH8033 sawH7200 the NephilimH5303, the sonsH1121 of AnakH6061, whichH8033 comeH1961 of the NephilimH5303: and weH8033 were in our ownH1961 sightH5869 as grasshoppersH2284, and soH3651 weH8033 were in their sightH5869.
