Titus 1:7-11

7For the 12overseer must be above reproach as 3God’s steward, not 4self-willed, not quick-tempered, not 5addicted to wine, not pugnacious, 6not fond of sordid gain, 8but 7hospitable, 8loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled, 99holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in 10sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.

1011For there are many 12rebellious men, 13empty talkers and deceivers, especially 14those of the circumcision, 11who must be silenced because they are upsetting 15whole families, teaching 16things they should not teach 17for the sake of sordid gain.
