2He has drivenנָהַ֛גna.HagH5090me and made me walkוַיֹּלַ֖ךְvai.yo.LakhH1980Indarknessחֹ֥שֶׁךְCho.shekhH2822and not in lightאֽוֹר׃'orH216.

3Surelyאַ֣ךְ'akhH389against me He hasturnedיַהֲפֹ֥ךְya.ha.FokhH2015His handיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027Repeatedlyיָשֻׁ֛בya.ShuvH7725allכָּל־kol-H3605the dayהַיּֽוֹם׃ סhai.YomH3117.

4He has caused myfleshבְשָׂרִי֙ve.sa.RiH1320and my skinוְעוֹרִ֔יve.'o.RiH5785to wasteH1086awayH1086, He hasbrokenשִׁבַּ֖רshi.BarH7665my bonesעַצְמוֹתָֽי׃atz.mo.TaiH6106.

16He hasbrokenוַיַּגְרֵ֤סvai.yag.ResH1638my teethשִׁנָּ֔יshi.NaiH8127withgravelבֶּֽחָצָץ֙be.cha.TzatzH2687;He has made me cowerהִכְפִּישַׁ֖נִיhikh.pi.Sha.niH3728in thedustבָּאֵֽפֶר׃ba.'E.ferH665.

17My soulנַפְשִׁ֖יnaf.ShiH5315has beenH2186rejectedH2186from peaceמִשָּׁל֛וֹםmi.sha.LomH7965;I have forgottenנָשִׁ֥יתִיna.Shi.tiH5382happinessH2899.

18So I sayוָאֹמַר֙va.'o.MarH559, “My strengthנִצְחִ֔יnitz.ChiH5331has perishedאָבַ֣ד'a.VadH6, And so has myhopeוְתוֹחַלְתִּ֖יve.to.chal.TiH8431from the Lordמֵיְהוָֽה׃ סme.Yah.wehH3068.”

19Rememberזְכָר־ze.khor-H2142my afflictionעָנְיִ֥י'a.ne.YiH6040and mywanderingוּמְרוּדִ֖יu.me.ru.DiH4788, thewormwoodלַעֲנָ֥הla.'a.NahH3939and bitternessוָרֹֽאשׁ׃va.RoshH7219.

20Surelyזָכ֣וֹרza.KhorH2142my soulנַפְשִֽׁי׃naf.ShiH5315remembersתִּזְכּ֔וֹרtiz.KorH2142And isbowedH7743downוְתָשׁ֥וֹחַve.ta.shi.achH7743withinעָלַ֖י'a.LaiH5921me.

21ThisH2088I recallאָשִׁ֥יב'a.ShivH7725to my mindלִבִּ֖יli.BiH3820,Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֥ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I haveH3176hopeH3176.

23Theyare newחֲדָשִׁים֙cha.da.ShimH2319every morningלַבְּקָרִ֔יםla.be.ka.RimH1242;Greatרַבָּ֖הra.BahH7227isYour faithfulnessאֱמוּנָתֶֽךָ׃'e.mu.na.Te.khaH530.

24“The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068is myportionחֶלְקִ֤יchel.KiH2506,”saysאָמְרָ֣ה'a.me.RahH559my soulנַפְשִׁ֔יnaf.ShiH5315, “Thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֖ן'al- kenH5921 H3651IhaveH3176hopeH3176in Him.”

25The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068is goodט֤וֹבTovH2896to those whowaitלְקוָֹ֔יוle.ko.VavH6960for Him, To thepersonלְנֶ֖פֶשׁle.Ne.feshH5315whoseeksתִּדְרְשֶֽׁנּוּ׃tid.re.She.nuH1875Him.

26It isgoodט֤וֹבTovH2896that hewaitsוְיָחִיל֙ve.ya.ChilH3175silentlyוְדוּמָ֔םve.du.MamH1748For the salvationלִתְשׁוּעַ֖תlit.shu.'AtH8668of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

27It isgoodט֣וֹבTovH2896for a manלַגֶּ֔בֶרla.Ge.verH1397that he should bearיִשָּׂ֥אyi.Sa'H5375The yokeעֹ֖ל'olH5923in his youthבִּנְעוּרָֽיו׃ סbin.'u.RavH5271.
