30The kingמַלְכָּא֙mal.Ka'H4430reflectedעָנֵ֤ה'a.NehH6032and saidוְאָמַ֔רve.'a.MarH560, ‘Is thisדָא־da'-H1668not Babylonבָּבֶ֣לba.VelH895thegreatרַבְּתָ֑אra.be.Ta'H7229,whichH1768I myselfאֲנָ֤ה'a.NahH576have builtבֱנַיְתַהּ֙ve.nay.TahH1124as a royalמַלְכ֔וּmal.KhuH4437residenceלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1005by the mightבִּתְקַ֥ףbit.KafH8632of my powerחִסְנִ֖יchis.NiH2632and for the gloryוְלִיקָ֥רve.li.KarH3367of my majestyהַדְרִֽי׃had.RiH1923?’
31Whileע֗וֹדodH5751the wordמִלְּתָא֙mi.le.Ta'H4406wasin the king’sמַלְכָּ֔אmal.Ka'H4430mouthבְּפֻ֣םbe.FumH6433,a voiceקָ֖לkalH7032cameנְפַ֑לne.FalH5308from heavenH8065, saying, ‘Kingמַלְכָּ֔אmal.Ka'H4430NebuchadnezzarH5020,to you it is declaredאָֽמְרִין֙'a.me.RinH560:sovereigntyH4437has beenH5709removedH5709from you,
32andyou will be drivenH2957awayH2957from mankindאֲנָשָׁא֩'a.na.Sha'H606,and your dwellingH4070placeמְדֹרָ֗ךְme.do.RakhH4070will bewith the beastsחֵיוַ֧תchei.VatH2423of the fieldבָּרָ֣אba.Ra'H1251.You will be givenH2939grassH6212to eatH2939like cattleכְתוֹרִין֙khe.to.RinH8450, andsevenוְשִׁבְעָ֥הve.shiv.'AhH7655periods of timeעִדָּנִ֖ין'i.da.NinH5732will passיַחְלְפ֣וּןyach.le.FunH2499overעֲלָ֑ךְa.la.yikhH5922you untilעַ֣ד'adH5705H1768you recognizeתִנְדַּ֗עtin.Da'H3046that theMostעִלָּיָא֙i.la.ya'H5943HighH5943is rulerשַׁלִּ֤יטsha.LitH7990over the realmבְּמַלְכ֣וּתbe.mal.KhutH4437of mankindאֲנָשָׁ֔א'a.na.Sha'H606and bestowsיִתְּנִנַּֽהּ׃yi.te.ni.NahH5415it on whomeverוּלְמַן־u.le.man-H4479H1768He wishesH6634.’
33Immediatelyשַׁעֲתָ֗אsha.'a.Ta'H8160the wordמִלְּתָא֮mi.le.Ta'H4406concerningH5922Nebuchadnezzarנְבוּכַדְנֶצַּר֒ne.vu.khad.ne.TzarH5020was fulfilledסָ֣פַתSa.fatH5487; and he wasdrivenH2957awayH2957from mankindאֲנָשָׁ֣א'a.na.Sha'H606and began eatingיֵאכֻ֔לye.KhulH399grassH6212like cattleכְתוֹרִין֙khe.to.RinH8450,and his bodyגִּשְׁמֵ֣הּgish.MehH1655was drenchedיִצְטַבַּ֑עyitz.ta.Ba'H6647with the dewוּמִטַּ֥לu.mi.TalH2920of heavenשְׁמַיָּ֖אshe.mai.Ya'H8065untilעַ֣ד דִּ֥י'ad diH5705H1768his hairשַׂעְרֵ֛הּsa'.RehH8177had grownרְבָ֖הre.VahH7236like eagles’כְּנִשְׁרִ֥יןke.nish.RinH5403feathersand his nailsוְטִפְר֥וֹהִיve.tif.Ro.hiH2953like birds’כְצִפְּרִֽין׃khe.tzi.pe.RinH6853claws.
34“But at the endוְלִקְצָ֣תve.lik.TzatH7118ofthat periodיֽוֹמַיָּה֩yo.mai.Yah'H3118,I, NebuchadnezzarH5020,raisedנִטְלֵ֗תnit.LetH5191my eyesעַיְנַ֣י׀'ay.NaiH5870toward heavenH8065and myreasonוּמַנְדְּעִי֙u.man.de.'IH4486returnedיְת֔וּבye.TuvH8421to me, and I blessedבָּרְכֵ֔תba.re.KhetH1289theMostוּלְעִלָּאָה֙u.le.'i.la.ya'H5943HighH5943and praisedH7624and honoredH1922Him whoH2417livesH2417foreverעָלְמָ֖א'al.Ma'H5957;For His dominionשָׁלְטָנֵהּ֙shal.ta.NehH7985is aneverlastingעָלַ֔ם'a.LamH5957dominionשָׁלְטָ֣ןshal.TanH7985,And His kingdomוּמַלְכוּתֵ֖הּu.mal.khu.TehH4437enduresfrom generationדָּ֥רdarH1859to generationוְדָֽר׃ve.DarH1859.
