Nahum 1:9-13

9Whatever you 1devise against the Lord, He will make a 2complete end of it. Distress will not rise up twice.10Like tangled 3thorns, And like those who are 4drunken with their drink, They are 5consumed As stubble completely withered.11From you has gone forth One who 6plotted evil against the Lord, A 78wicked counselor. 12Thus says the Lord, “Though they are at full strength and likewise many, Even so, they will be 9cut off and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you 10no longer.13So now, I will 11break his yoke bar from upon you, And I will tear off your shackles.”
