1“1Now muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops; 2They have laid siege against us; With a rod they will 3smite the judge of Israel on the cheek.24But as for 5you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From 6you One will go forth for Me to be 7ruler in Israel. 8His goings forth are 9from long ago, From the days of eternity.”
