Micah 2:7-11
7Is it being said, O house of Jacob: ‘Is the Spirit of the Lord 1impatient? Are these His doings?’ Do not My words 2do good To the one 3walking uprightly?84Recently My people have arisen as an 5enemy-- You 6strip the 7robe off the garment From 8unsuspecting passers-by, From those returned from war.9The women of My people you 9evict, Each one from her pleasant house. From her children you take My 10splendor forever.10Arise and go, For this is no place 11of rest Because of the 12uncleanness that brings on destruction, A painful destruction.11If a man walking after wind and 13falsehood Had told lies and said, ‘I will 14speak out to you concerning 15wine and liquor,’ He would be 16spokesman to 17this people.
