Mark 13:22-30

22for false Christs and 1false prophets will arise, and will show 23signs and 4wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. 23But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.

24“But in those days, after that tribulation, 5the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, 256and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in 7the heavens will be shaken. 26Then they will see 8the Son of Man 9coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27And then He will send forth the angels, and 10will gather together His 11elect from the four winds, 12from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.

28“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29Even so, you too, when you see these things happening, 13recognize that 14He is near, right at the 15door. 30Truly I say to you, this 16generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
