Lamentations 3:55-66

55I 1called on Your name, O Lord, Out of the lowest pit.56You have 2heard my voice, “3Do not hide Your ear from my prayer for relief, From my cry for help.”57You 4drew near when I called on You; You said, “5Do not fear!”58O Lord, You 6have pleaded my soul’s cause; You have 7redeemed my life.59O Lord, You have 8seen my oppression; 9Judge my case.60You have seen all their vengeance, All their 10schemes against me.61You have heard their 11reproach, O Lord, All their schemes against me.62The 12lips of my assailants and their whispering Are against me all day long.63Look on their 13sitting and their rising; 14I am their mocking song.64You will 15recompense them, O Lord, According to the work of their hands.65You will give them 16 17hardness of heart, Your curse will be on them.66You will 18pursue them in anger and destroy them From under the 19heavens of the Lord!
