Lamentations 3:25-33
25The Lord is good to those who 1wait for Him, To the 2person who 3seeks Him.26It is good that he 4waits silently For the salvation of the Lord.27It is good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth.28Let him 5sit alone and be silent Since He has laid it on him.29Let him 6put his mouth in the 7dust, Perhaps there is 8hope.30Let him give his 9cheek to 10the smiter, Let him be filled with reproach.31For the Lord will 11not reject forever,32For if He causes grief, Then He will have 12compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.33For He 13does not afflict 14willingly Or grieve the sons of men.
