Lamentations 3:24-32
24“The Lord is my 1portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I 2have hope in Him.”25The Lord is good to those who 3wait for Him, To the 4person who 5seeks Him.26It is good that he 6waits silently For the salvation of the Lord.27It is good for a man that he should bear The yoke in his youth.28Let him 7sit alone and be silent Since He has laid it on him.29Let him 8put his mouth in the 9dust, Perhaps there is 10hope.30Let him give his 11cheek to 12the smiter, Let him be filled with reproach.31For the Lord will 13not reject forever,32For if He causes grief, Then He will have 14compassion According to His abundant lovingkindness.
