New American Standard Bible 1995
John 8:51-55
51Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone 1keeps My word he will never 2see death.”
523The Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You 4have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets also; and You say, ‘If anyone 5keeps My word, he will never 6taste of death.’
53Surely You 7are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make Yourself out to be?”
54Jesus answered, “8If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; 9it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God’;
55and 10you have not come to know Him, 11but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be 12a liar like you, 13but I do know Him and 14keep His word.
