John 19:38-40

381After these things Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but a 2secret one for 3fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate granted permission. So he came and took away His body.

394Nicodemus, who had first come to Him by night, also came, 5bringing a 6mixture of 7myrrh and aloes, about a 8hundred 9pounds weight.

40So they took the body of Jesus and 10bound it in 11linen wrappings with the spices, as is the burial custom of the Jews.
