John 17:9-26

91I ask on their behalf; 2I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom 3You have given Me; for 4they are Yours; 10and 5all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11I am no longer in the world; and yet 6they themselves are in the world, and 7I come to You. 8Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name 9which You have given Me, that 10they may be one even as We are. 12While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name 11which You have given Me; and I guarded them and 12not one of them perished but 13the 14son of perdition, so that the 15Scripture would be fulfilled. 13But now 16I come to You; and 17these things I speak in the world so that they may have My 18joy made full in themselves. 14I have given them Your word; and 19the world has hated them, because 20they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them 21from 2223the evil one. 1624They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 1725Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18As 26You sent Me into the world, 27I also have sent them into the world. 19For their sakes I 28sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be 29sanctified 30in truth.

20“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21that they may all be one; 31even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, 32so that the world may 33believe that 34You sent Me. 22The 35glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; 2336I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected 37in unity, so that the world may 38know that 39You sent Me, and 40loved them, even as You have loved Me. 24Father, I desire that 41they also, whom You have given Me, 42be with Me where I am, so that they may see My 43glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before 44the foundation of the world.

25“O 45righteous Father, 46although 47the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that 48You sent Me; 26and 49I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that 50the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
