John 17:14-26

14I have given them Your word; and 1the world has hated them, because 2they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them 3from 45the evil one. 166They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 177Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18As 8You sent Me into the world, 9I also have sent them into the world. 19For their sakes I 10sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be 11sanctified 12in truth.

20“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21that they may all be one; 13even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, 14so that the world may 15believe that 16You sent Me. 22The 17glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; 2318I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected 19in unity, so that the world may 20know that 21You sent Me, and 22loved them, even as You have loved Me. 24Father, I desire that 23they also, whom You have given Me, 24be with Me where I am, so that they may see My 25glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before 26the foundation of the world.

25“O 27righteous Father, 28although 29the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that 30You sent Me; 26and 31I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that 32the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
