John 17:14-21

14I have given them Your word; and 1the world has hated them, because 2they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them 3from 45the evil one. 166They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 177Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18As 8You sent Me into the world, 9I also have sent them into the world. 19For their sakes I 10sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be 11sanctified 12in truth.

20“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21that they may all be one; 13even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, 14so that the world may 15believe that 16You sent Me.
