John 17:12-15
While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name 1which You have given Me; and I guarded them and 2not one of them perished but 3the 4son of perdition, so that the 5Scripture would be fulfilled.
But now 6I come to You; and 7these things I speak in the world so that they may have My 8joy made full in themselves.
I have given them Your word; and 9the world has hated them, because 10they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them 11from 1213the evil one.
