John 16:23-27

23 1In that day 2you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, 3if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. 24 4Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your 5joy may be made full.

25“These things I have spoken to you in 6 7figurative language; 8an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in 9figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father. 26 10In that day 11you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf; 27for 12the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and 13have believed that 14I came forth from the Father.
