New American Standard Bible 1995
John 15:17-20
17This 1I command you, that you love one another.
18“2If the world hates you, 3you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but 4I chose you out of the world, 5because of this the world hates you. 20Remember the word that I said to you, ‘6A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, 7they will also persecute you; if they 8kept My word, they will keep yours also.
