Job 8:11-15

Can the rushes grow without water?12While it is still green and not cut down, Yet it withers before any other 1plant.13So are the paths of 2all who forget God; And the 3hope of the godless will perish,14Whose confidence is fragile, And whose trust a 4spider’s 5web.15He 6trusts in his 7house, but it does not stand; He holds fast to it, but it does not endure.
