Job 36:5-15
5Behold, God is mighty but does not 1despise any; He is 2mighty in strength of understanding.6He does not 3keep the wicked alive, But gives justice to 4the afflicted.7He does not 5withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But 6with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.8And if they are bound in fetters, And are caught in the cords of 7affliction,9Then He declares to them their work And their transgressions, that they have 8magnified themselves.109He opens their ear to instruction, And 10commands that they return from evil.11If they hear and serve Him, They will 11end their days in prosperity And their years in 12pleasures.12But if they do not hear, they shall 13perish 14by the sword And they will 15die without knowledge.13But the godless in heart lay up anger; They do not cry for help when He binds them.1416They die in youth, And their life perishes among the 17cult prostitutes.15He delivers the afflicted in 18their 19affliction, And 20opens their ear 21in time of oppression.
