Jeremiah 9:2-4

212Oh that I had in the desert A wayfarers’ lodging place; That I might leave my people And go from them! For all of them are 3adulterers, An assembly of 4treacherous men.3“They 5bend their tongue like their bow; Lies and not truth prevail in the land; For they 6proceed from evil to evil, And they 7do not know Me,” declares the Lord.4“Let everyone 8be on guard against his neighbor, And 9do not trust any brother; Because every 10brother deals 11craftily, And every neighbor 12goes about as a slanderer.
