Jeremiah 14:7-9
7Although our 1iniquities testify against us, O Lord, act 2for Your name’s sake! Truly our 3apostasies have been many, We have 4sinned against You.8O 5Hope of Israel, Its 6Savior in 7time of distress, Why are You like a stranger in the land Or like a traveler who has pitched his tent for the night?9Why are You like a man dismayed, Like a mighty man who 8cannot save? Yet 9You are in our midst, O Lord, And we are 10called by Your name; Do not forsake us!”
