Jeremiah 10:10-16

10But the Lord is the 1true God; He is the 2living God and the 3everlasting King. At His wrath the 4earth quakes, And the nations cannot 5endure His indignation.

116Thus you shall say to them, “The 7gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will 8perish from the earth and from under the 9heavens.”

12It is 10He who made the earth by His power, Who 11established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has 12stretched out the heavens.13When He utters His 13voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the 14clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the 15wind from His storehouses.14Every man is 16stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his 17idols; For his molten images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.15They are 18worthless, a work of mockery; In the 19time of their punishment they will perish.16The 20portion of Jacob is not like these; For the 2122Maker of all is He, And 23Israel is the tribe of His inheritance; The 24Lord of hosts is His name.
