Habakkuk 2:15-18
15“Woe to you who make 1your neighbors drink, Who mix in your venom even to make them drunk So as to look on their nakedness!16You will be filled with disgrace rather than honor. Now you yourself 2drink and 3expose your own nakedness. The 4cup in the Lord’s right hand will come around to you, And 5utter disgrace will come upon your glory.17For the 6violence 7done to Lebanon will 8overwhelm you, And the devastation of its beasts 9by which you terrified them, 10Because of human bloodshed and 11violence 12done to the land, To the town and all its inhabitants.
18“What 13profit is the 14idol when its maker has carved it, Or 15an image, a 16teacher of falsehood? For its maker 17trusts in his own handiwork When he fashions speechless idols.
