Genesis 28:19-22

He called the name of that place 12Bethel; however, 3previously the name of the city had been 4Luz.

Then Jacob 5made a vow, saying, “6If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I 7take, and will give me 89food to eat and garments to wear,

and 10I return to my father’s house in 11safety, 12then the Lord will be my God.

This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, 13will be God’s house, and 14of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”
