Genesis 27:42-46
42Now when the words of her elder son Esau were reported to Rebekah, she sent and called her younger son Jacob, and said to him, “Behold your brother Esau is consoling himself concerning you by planning to kill you. 43Now therefore, my son, 1obey my voice, and arise, 2flee to 3Haran, to my brother 4Laban! 44Stay with him 5a few days, until your brother’s fury 6subsides, 45until your brother’s anger 7against you subsides and he forgets 8what you did to him. Then I will send and get you from there. Why should I be bereaved of you both in one day?”
46Rebekah said to Isaac, “I am tired of 9living because of 10the daughters of Heth; 11if Jacob takes a wife from the daughters of Heth, like these, from the daughters of the land, what good will my life be to me?”
