Genesis 17:2-8

2I will 1establish My 2covenant between Me and you, And I will 3multiply you exceedingly.” 3Abram 4fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,4“As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a 5multitude of nations.5No longer shall your name be called 6Abram, But 7your name shall be 8Abraham; For 9I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. 6I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and 10kings will come forth from you. 7I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your 11descendants after you throughout their generations for an 12everlasting covenant, 13to be God to you and 14to your 15descendants after you. 816I will give to you and to your 17descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and 18I will be their God.”
